Course Description

This course builds the skills and confidence of project staff to work with financial information in their everyday work. It covers the basics of financial accountability, including the language, systems and processes for tracking financial transactions from purchasing through to financial reporting. Participants will learn the how to apply Accounting principles within their organization. It includes: Account Coding, using financial information to make the most of available resources, Income Management, managing finance to maximize organizational and programme impact.
